This morning I was pretending to eat Sparky all up, nibbling at her belly.

Sparky: No Grandma, I officially a little girl full of blood. You can't eat me.

Reason # 9,999,999 why I love that kid! 

Waking Spunky up this morning, I was giving her little nibbly kisses all around her face. I teasingly said, "Mmm. I'm going to eat her all up while she's sleeping." 

I pretended to nibble her arm and said, "Mmm. That tastes like pumpernickel bread." Then I pretended to nibble her cheek and said, "That tastes like candy apple." Then I said, "Hmmm, I wonder what her ears taste like." 

Spunky opened one eye and said very dryly, in her little spunky manner, "Ear wax!"
