(April Fool's is long past, but today I am sharing some memories I found.)
April 1/17
LOL Spunky just informed me that she and Sparky are writing down a list of all the April Fool's jokes they want to play on me today.
So far, they have disappeared from the room while I was in the kitchen getting a coffee, and I was treated to a nice big glass of ice water full of sugar.
Now I am being urged to go to sleep so she can play a joke on me since I woke up before her this morning and she didn't get a chance to play her joke on me. LMAO!
I just figured out that one of the April Fool's jokes involved writing on my face with marker while I slept. Unfortunately, I ruined that bit of fun for them, but now I have had Spunky come to me with a green face telling me she's sick, and Sparky's face and body are covered in green stripes because "I a tiger, Grandma."
LMAO
Thank goodness for washable markers.
April 1/16
So I get home from work and sink my exhausted body into my recliner.
Suddenly, I am moved to tears at how blessed I am, as Spunky hands me a glass of water and sparky runs over to help me put my slippers on.
So, I eye the water a little hesitantly, as it is half a glass of room temperature, cloudy water, and not very refreshing looking, but it's the thought that counts. I set it beside me on the table, hoping Spunky won't notice before I can get a fresh one.
A few minutes later, Spunky asks me, all excited, ''Did you drink your water yet Grandma?" Feeling just slightly guilty, I pick it up and take a small sip.
LITTLE MONKEY HAD GIVEN ME A GLASS OF SALT WATER FOR APRIL FOOL'S!!!
LMAO. What a kid.
Oh well, I am still pretty blessed. I love those girls.
April 1/14
So far I have had a snake on my neck twice, a lizard on my shoulder, and a house and a tree across the street have both fallen down.
I think the funniest was when she sent her Mom to tell me that Spunky was helping to clean and that was "Happy Fool's"!!
(Yep, her cleaning her room all on her own without nagging would definitely be a prank.)

Spunky was very excited all evening about "Happy Fool's Day" tomorrow. LOL
She was actually singing a little song about it that she had made up.
Apparently the world really needs Happy Fool's Day Carols!
