Gotta love Spunky and childhood honesty. We are going to be on the Home Hardware float for the parade tonight, so I was trying to find something warm for my head. I tried on a hat and asked, "Hey Spunky, does this look OK?"
Spunky answered, "Yeah. You need to be warm so it doesn't matter if you don't look pretty.."

Another Spunky gem.
I had plans to go out last night, but they got cancelled at the last minute. 
I was all prettied up with no place to go, then, but I wasn't upset, because I was happy to just relax at home anyway. 
Spunky said, "Aww Grandma, You got all pretty for nothing. That's OK, You can still stay pretty."
