Went to get up off the chair yesterday morning and I was stiff and sore and had a twinge of pain. I let out a bit of a groan and winced.
Spunky: What's wrong Gramma?
Me: Just getting old and decrepit and falling apart.
Spunky: Gramma, you're not old and decrepit and falling apart - well yeah, you're kind of falling apart, but you're not old.
LMAO!

LMAO! I said to Spunky that I better get my butt in gear and do something. I stood up, wiggled my butt and asked, ''Does it look like I have my butt in gear?"
Spunky answered, ''Oh my God. I wish I didn't see that Gramma.''
Too funny.

OMG. Every day is another adventure with that kid! Snuggling Spunky at bedtime and she reached out to stroke my chin. She ran her hand along my neck where I apparently still have some loose skin from my weight loss.
Spunky: Oh Gramma, I love the feel of that. It's so soft and squishy and jiggly. It feels just like a fidget toy.
So, she started jiggling and pulling the loose skin saying, ''Nice little fidget toy.''
By that point I was laughing hysterically.
Spunky: Gramma, why are you laughing? You're making me giggle.
She continued to jiggle the lose skin saying, ''Nice little fidget toy.''
Spunky: Oh Gramma, I just love the feel of your soft jiggly fidget toy.''
By that point, I was laughing so hard I was in tears.
What a kid.
So, I will just be sitting here with my soft, jiggly, fidget toy neck. LMAO!
(*EDIT-- I forgot to add, she also named it Spot! I was reminded this morning when she was heading off to school and she hugged me and said, ''Goodbye Gramma,'' and then patted my neck and said, ''Bye Spotty.''

I've been trying to eat healthier for the past few months, but I haven't been as strict with my eating plan for the past couple of weeks. I was sure I had gained weight. So, I bit the bullet and stepped on the scale, expecting to see a 5 lb increase.
There was a 1 lb loss!
So, I was rather pleased and excited, and was telling Teffie, when Spunky looked at me with questioning eyes and a puzzled look.
I said, "Grandma lost a pound of fat."
She patted my belly with her little hand and said, "No you didn't Gramma."
LMAO!!!

LOL Spunky was still awake when I got home tonight. I guess she really missed me, and Gramma had the nerve to leave just after lunch and not come home until almost 10 pm. LOL
Anyway, apparently, she just could not sleep until she had hugged me good night.
As she put her arms around me, she suddenly stopped and said, "Ummm, Gramma, you feel different. When I put my arms around you, I don't feel as much in the back."
